When you call Your Pet Sitter, we will arrange a free visit to your home to:
- Meet you and your pets
- Get detailed information about caring for your pets and your home
- Get veterinary release form completed (should your pet become ill and needs to be taken to the vet)
- Pick up a door key
- Complete a service agreement
As well as tending to your pet we will also conduct the following according to your requests:
- Bringing in the mail and newspapers
- Adjusting curtains and lights
- Watering your indoor plants
- Handling other minor household tasks as needed
Exercise is a very important part of a dog's physical and mental well-being. Each and every dog has different needs depending on factors such as age, size and energy level. Walking is a great way of exercising your dog and also allows them to experience many stimuli such as smell etc. Our dog walks vary in duration, from half an hour to one hour and can be tailored to meet your dogs requirements.
Dogs should be socialised at an early age. From experience I have seen how this moulds your dog in later life and is vitally important in bringing them up to be a healthy, happy, good natured and well trained dog. Puppies and young dogs need more attention and our service will be adapted to meet your puppy's needs.
Home visits will last 30 minutes. The number of visits required will depend on how old your puppy is and how long they will be left for.
Once your puppy has been fully innoculated, you will have the option to introduce him/her to my dog Rambo. Rambo is by nature, an eager, affectionate tail-wagger. He is outgoing and sportive and incredibly fearless. Naturally well behaved he gets along well with other dogs and non-canine pets.
This service is designed for small animals, cats and also dogs who may be unable to go out for long walks (such as pregnant mums or elderly dogs) and may require a visit during the day. We can provide a home visit which will include: feeding and checking their water, cleaning up any accidents your pet may have had, letting them out into your garden, cuddles and playtime and grooming. This can be on a daily basis if you are at work all day or a daily basis for a limited time should you be going away and require someone to visit your house to tend to your pet and your house. We can arrange more than 2 per visits per day should you require.
We can board your animals for you when you go away and will give them all the attention, cuddles and playtime that they require.
We also offer a service should you need us to pop to the shops to pick up any groceries you may need as we understand that all you want to do when you leave work is to get home. Please note we will need this list before we visit your home to see your pet and our rates depend on the amount of shopping you require. Any other errands you may need such as, returning items to shops, visiting the post office etc can be arranged in each instance. (Prices for this service available on request)
As a pet owner myself, I know that you may feel like you are missing out on funny things your pet has done, knowing whether they have been good or not, whether they have been clean, whether they have eaten or just how they have been in general.
To accomodate this, we will personally leave you notes, or send you texts or emails to let you know everything that happened whilst you were not there.
